Hindu Civilisation & Heritage – Exhibition & Talks
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is organising a
first-of-its-kind learning exhibition at the RJ Multipurpose Hall located in
the grounds of the ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple Complex in Seberang Jaya.

The exhibition
showcases amongst others, the history of Hinduism in Malaysia by tracing the
records of Bujang Valley, Kedah Tua, Gangga Nagara, Langkasuka, Hindu history
in South East Asia like Cambodia (Angkor Wat), Prambanan (Indonesia), and
worldwide like China, Korea, Japan, Australia, North America, South America,
Europe and Egypt.
Titled “Hindu
Civilisation & Heritage”, the exhibition also displays records of
contribution and discoveries of Hindu sages and scriptures in the fields of
Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Metallurgy, Astronomy, Linguistics,
Architecture and Culture.
Additionally, it
includes the various religious understandings that Hindus profess and practise.
The exhibition seeks to show the contribution of Hindus in Malaysia and
globally.
The exhibition aims to
promote the understanding of Hindu scientific contributions in various fields
of study, Hindu archaeology facts, Hindu Culture and Hindus’ contribution to
Malaysia and the world.
The weekends (6-7 and
13-14) will have experts in various fields speaking on numerous topics.
Speakers include His Holiness Srila Bhanu Swami, a Japanese Monk and Sanskrit scholar, who has translated 29 books from Sanskrit to English and Malaysia-born famous author, Dato’ V. Nadarajan speaking on Bujang Valley.

Others speakers include Professor Dr Surabala (USM), Dr. Sridevi Sriniwass (UM), Dr Suhanya Parthasarathy (UM), Dr Ranjev Hari (UM), His Grace Simheswara Prabhu (ISKCON Regional Secretary), and JK Wicky (Cinematographer & Motivator).
